This page explains what happens to your data when you use the Free QR Code & Barcode Generator at ezyqrgen.com ("the site").

The QR codes and barcodes you create

Everything you type in to generate a QR code or barcode — URLs, text, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, and so on — is processed entirely inside your own browser. None of that content is ever sent to, or stored on, any server. Closing the tab or clearing your browser erases it completely.

Account sign-in (optional)

Colorful presets, gradients, and custom eye colors require a free account. If you choose to sign in:

• Authentication is handled by Supabase, a third-party authentication provider. Your email address and encrypted password (or, if you use "Continue with Google," your basic Google profile info — name, email, profile photo) are stored by Supabase on our behalf.
• We don't independently collect, sell, or share this information with anyone else.
• You can see Supabase's own privacy practices at supabase.com/privacy.

Local storage

The site remembers your light/dark theme preference using your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

Third-party resources

The site loads fonts (Google Fonts), a few open-source JavaScript libraries (for QR code, barcode, and authentication functionality) from public content delivery networks (jsDelivr, cdnjs), and Google's advertising library. Loading these may expose your IP address to those providers in the normal course of serving a file, the same as any website that uses external resources.

Advertising

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense to help keep it free. No ad is actually displayed or personalized, however, until you respond to our cookie prompt:

• If you accept, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google Ads Settings, or by choosing "Opt out" in the cookie prompt shown on this site — the site works identically either way.

Cookies and tracking

Outside of the advertising cookies described above (only set if you accept them), we don't use analytics or tracking scripts. Supabase's authentication service sets its own session cookies/local storage necessary to keep you signed in if you use an account.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
